Rajeev Tripathi is an Assistant Professor in the Production & Operations Management Area at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He also serves as the Chairperson of the Supply Chain Management Centre, a Centre of Excellence at IIM Bangalore that works closely with government and industry to strengthen India’s supply chain ecosystem.

Rajeev’s research spans responsible business operations, cooperative game theory, and supply chain economics. He teaches courses on Game Theory, Responsible Business Operations, Sustainability, and Operations Management across IIM Bangalore’s MBA and Ph.D. programs. His teaching excellence has been recognized within the institute. His research has been published in leading academic journals and has received multiple best paper awards at academic conferences. He has also been recognized by BW Businessworld with the “Excellence in Supply Chain Mentorship” award.

Rajeev works extensively with government and industry stakeholders on initiatives related to supply chain management, sustainability, and operational excellence. He serves on advisory committees and expert groups, contributing to policy design,  capacity building, and strategic planning. Beyond academia, Rajeev actively contributes to public discourse through thought leadership articles in prominent media outlets, including Forbes India, The Hindu BusinessLine, The Economic Times, and The Deccan Herald. He is a frequent speaker at academic conferences, government forums, and industry summits.

Rajeev holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a B.Tech. from the Cochin University of Science and Technology.
